Children's Ministry

We want to personally thank you for serving in the Children’s Ministry. Children are our most valuable assets. Our churches provide a safe environment for them to come and learn about Jesus. As the body of Christ, we build relationships among children, families, and our communities. Children’s Ministry should be one of our church's biggest ministries.

Question: Do you remember your first memories of church? When it comes right down to it, your welcome was probably the most positive experience that you received. The love from your church family was felt in a very special way. Your children’s ministry should be a warm, safe environment filled with love that will touch many people’s lives. It is so essential that we make others feel welcomed. Everything from the first hello until the very last goodbye. As  faithful volunteers come in on a regular basis, they pray and prepare for class asking God to use them. You see, It don’t really matter if you only have only one child in class or forty-five children in class; you BE obedient to what God has called you to do. He is using willing vessels. He will make the difference through your obedience. From that very moment the children walk in the doors of your church, I encourage you to be extra enthusiastic. Let them know that you are thankful that they are there. I also want you to remind your church family that they make a difference rather they are teaching a class or not. Encourage them to go the extra mile to make others feel welcomed.

Always remember, children may not remember every word you that you taught, but they will always remember the love and welcome that they receive.

Thank you Salt River Baptist Association leaders and teams for serving together with us. As we serve, it’s worth it all, to see a child’s life changed by a loving God. As we invest God’s Holy Word in His children, they will take God’s love back to their families. Let us continue praying for our families, our ministries, and our churches. Look for opportunities to encourage our families! We are all in this together! Our SRBA Children’s Ministries Committee is here to support you through prayers and encouragement. We need more individuals, to serve in our committee. If you have a passion to see others come to know Jesus and love to serve, please call me at 573-470-9340.

Sincerely,

Amy Land & your SRBA Children’s Committee
